I am surprised I am still typing this entry here. Haha.
Yesterday, I shifted my computer in my house, and because of that, I had to use an extension cord for the computer's power supply.
All was well for the whole of yesterday, until I accidentally touched the metallic earphones input(whatever you call it) on my computer.

I got a slight electric shock. Literally and seriously. I was thinking: How can that be? Ignoring it, I went to sleep.

This morning, I was about to attach a device to a USB cable when I touched the USB cable connected to the computer, and I got another shock. It feels like a sudden tinge, then the area of your hand that comes into contact with the metal will go numb for a very short while. I ain't sure about the effects of leaving your hand on an electrocuted metal object for about 1 minute. I didn't try to find out.

That was when I realised something wasn't right. I touched my computer casing, and I got an electric shock again.
Omg. My whole CPU is being electrocuted? Together with everything in metal contact with the computer? Omg. I am surprised nothing is burning yet.

Maybe its because the electric voltage wasn't that high anyway. But to think about it, if the voltage wasn't stepped down, I would be fried from that. Quite cool. I found the problem and fixed it anyway. It was due to the extension cord. It was faulty.

Alright. All my devices attached to the computer survived the shock. Haha. Wonder what would have happened if the power supply wasn't stepped down?
BBQ-ed.
