nothing much interesting happened today...
sch started as usual... nothing much happened...
had the usual lessons and the day ended at 10:45am(huh?wad u mean by chem at 11:45 and chinese at 12:45?i dun take those lessons!)
me, marcus,gary and tian xiang went to grassroot to play pool after chem was over
i decided to adopt a trademark ending move when playing pool...after marcus said it was particularly hard to achieve.

in this move, i end the game by shooting both the black and white ball in =O
nvm... i only did it twice neway.. kinda liked my 1st game though... scored 5 balls in 1 go lol but did my trademark move too =D
neway i got no plans to go into details over the 3 hr lunch dat followed... cos ne1 wuld know wad we did...

neway we got only 3 days to release of posting results... hope everyone sees Anderson Junior College on their results =D

I have finished another overdose...yet i m still sick
Dunno y its so hard to recover...
My doc advised me to drink starfruit juice+honey for my throat
So my mom told me to buy 6 starfruits... i think dats a bit too many =|
den she blended fruit juice for me...said it was too troublesome to blend when i wanted to drink so might as well blend all in 1 go
the result was 3 big cups of starfruit juice omg...
dat wasnt the worst... worse still was dat she said i shldnt drink cold drinks so cannot put in fridge
den fruit juice cannot put around for too long de... so she told me to drink all
OMG sia
i read in today's newspaper dat consuming stuff with cooling effect is ok... but too much of it can be counter-productive(反效果）
i know wad that means now...i been having diarrhoea since yesterday -.-
hopefully i can go sch on mon though...

I m writing another entry today... cos i m feeling even worse than this morning...
My fever has gone all the way up to 38.3 degrees... and my sore throat is so bad its like salt in a wound...

I went to see my doc again this morn... the clinic was totally full compared to yesterday... does everyone fall sick on Saturday?
kinda worried about myself cos the clinic aint open on Sunday... wad if i dun recover?
despite dat 'overdose' i hvent recovered... feeling very sad now...
i will be finishing this bout of medication at 6am the next morning... whole night must wake up to drink medicine =(
hopefully i can turn up on sch on mon... it gets boring at home after some time...

Wasnt dat gd an update neway... nerfs here and there.. about 80% nerfs and no effective buffs...
2 new Scourge heros --- Witch Doctor and Spirit of Vengeance
Witch's a very gd pusher while spirit is a decent hero killer

Witch Doctor(Vol'Jin) Skills ---

Paralyzing Casks ==> 2 heroes approach u... do this and they r screwed
Vol'jin launches casks of paralyzing powder that bounce between foes, stunning those effected for a short period of time (1 sec on Hero, 5 on creeps).

Level 1 - 2 bounces
Level 2 - 4 bounces
Level 3 - 6 bounces
Level 4 - 8 bounces

Voodoo Restoration ==> get mana regen to 350%(+250%) and u can keep this on for gd
Vol'jin focuses his voodoo magic to heal nearby allied units.
Drains 10 mana/sec until deactivated.

Level 1 - Restores 6 hp/sec.
Level 2 - Restores 12 hp/sec.
Level 3 - Restores 18 hp/sec.
Level 4 - Restores 24 hp/sec.

Maledict ===> After casting this on a hero, attack him to make him take the extra 100 bonus damage
Targets an area with an ancient voodoo curse. Cursed heroes will not only take damage over time, but they will be dealt bonus damage every 4 seconds based on how much hp they lost since the beginning of the curse. Lasts 12 seconds

Level 1 - Enemies lose 5 hp/sec, 10 bonus damage for every 100 hp lost during curse.
Level 2 - Enemies lose 10 hp/sec, 20 bonus damage for every 100 hp lost during curse.

Spirit of Vengeance(Mercurial) Skills---

Phase ===> Zero collison, can walk thru creeps and trees, you are visible, this is not wind walk
Mercurial phases out resulting in the ability to walk through objects and move at a faster pace.

Level 1 - Increase speed by 4%. Lasts 10 seconds.
Level 2 - Increase speed by 8%. Lasts 15 seconds.
Level 3 - Increase speed by 12%. Lasts 20 seconds.
Level 4 - Increase speed by 16%. Lasts 25 seconds.

Haunt ==> About every few seconds an illusion doing 33% dmg will pop up and attack the target hero 1 to 3 times (usually 1 time), hero freezes for a short period of time when illusion appears , illusion disappears after attacking.
5 hauntings = 5 illusions attacking target hero over a period of time, 1 every few seconds
Mercurial haunts the target hero. The hero is frozen in fear while the illusion attacks. The effects of this are amplified if the enemy cannot see the true Avatar of Vengeance.

Level 1 - 3 Hauntings.
Level 2 - 4 Hauntings.
Level 3 - 5 Hauntings.
Level 4 - 5 Hauntings. Gains Reality. (instead of an illusion, the hero is the one that teleports over and attack the target hero, something like a blink strike)

Level 3 - 12% chance.

Vengeance ===> This only injures ONE random target, however if u cast Direct Vengeance(100 mana cost,extra skill) on a specific hero, all the damage will strike that hero.
Whenever an allied unit near Mercurial dies, it releases an energy to damage its enemies as its last act of vengeance. 1000 AOE.

Level 1 - 50 damage per creep. 200 damage per hero.
Level 2 - 75 damage per creep. 250 damage per hero.
Level 3 - 100 damage per creep. 300 damage per hero.

Woke up this morn and checked my temp.
Saw dat it was 39 degrees so decided nt to go to sch.
Den I went to the clinic myself all the way at Lavender...
The stupid doc arrived 30 min after opening time... I was already on the verge of collapse
Neway i got my medication alrdy... expecting to recover very soon cos this doc is gd =)
But the medication is something like an overdose lol...doesnt matter cos it helps
the doc gave me a bottle of medicine : 2 hrs 1 dose
some pills for fever: 2 pills 3 times a day
some pills for everything else: 4 pills 3 times a day
lol... 6 pills... eat until full le

When i reached home my mom didnt say much... so i ate my medication and went to rest
feeling so much betta nw... fever gone and energized compared to this morn
neway going to eat my medicine nw...

Heard some bad news today from Ms Toh...
she said there was a 99% chance we wun end up in the same class...(I think its more like a 50% chance,ask me why and i might explain =P)
but dats with the assumption dat we might take a different subject combination
So let us all take the same subject combination again!
And hope few 2nd intake pple take so our class wun be split into 2 classes or more...
so during orientation must discourage pple from taking this combi hor
On the other hand... to be 100% sure we culd take the same H1 subject =P
I dun mind chem or geog...i will just see hw many pple taking which H1 subject...then i join the majority!
we currently have a majority taking H1 chem but i heard many pple taking up H1 Geog instead...

neway...hope we all have a 99% chance of staying together instead! =D

Suddenly felt like blogging this today...something i had in my mind for ages...

There's this invisble barrier in my heart...
something unseen... yet i can feel its presence...
it stops me from saying out my true feelings and thoughts...
as a result i developed a less cheerful character in secondary sch...
It came about when i was stressed and pressurised by external factors...
my troubles...the stress i was going through...
yet i had noone to talk to then...
noone i could share my thoughts with...
i kept everything within my heart...
and slowly...
a barrier was formed...
locking everything inside me...

i became a little introverted...
thanks to my frens in sec sch i didnt become introverted altogether...
yet i still had my troubles...
and they were still building up...
i became less able to express myself...
i was closing my thoughts from the people around me...

When i reached jc...
i was still the same...
became very quiet during orientation...
noone i knew...
noone i could talk to...
i became one of the anti-social pple in my OG...

Thankfully...
when i met my class 13/06...
i found a bunch of cheerful people...
people who were enthu...
people who talked to everyone...
people who i found fun to bond with...
slowly...
the barrier in my heart thinned...
my troubles and sadness began to leak out of my heart...
i felt my true joy in years...
i felt much happier...
i felt bonded to my class...
yet the barrier is still there...
but i know that soon...
the barrier will be gone...
and i will be very happy...
and the 1st group of pple i want to thank...
is my class 13/06 =)

OMG sia... went to sch today thinking abt the dota competition...
den we found out they only accepted EIGHT teams!!! wdh... the competition was full since last fri!!!!
I heard it was full abt 1hr+ after they announced it... so sad =( we were so happy abt this competition den cant join...
haix~~ nw feeling very sad... hw come they only 8 teams de... so small competition... shld put at least 30+ teams mah... confirm got enuff pple sign up =|

Neway... today was total defence day "celebrations" at AJ... we were given food ration coupons in the morning and were told dat all dat was selling in the canteen today was porridge and sweet potatoes -.-"
And we had PE today.... hw much energy wuld those stuff give us???

So our class decided to go eat at NYP =P it was a big rush sia... at first we tot cannot leave so stand there for ages... then realised actually the guard dun mind... so we rushed out to NYP and back... only 10 min late for GP =D

Dat day also got rationing of toilet(wtf?) and electricity but i conclude it was a failure =P cos i used the toilets neway and we didnt off the lights and fans cos noone took notice of the announcement =D

lol.

Its finally confirmed dat Aj is gonna have a dota competition =D
I m definitely joining in this event so plz come support my team!
Neway we haven't even really formed the team yet so if ne1 is interested to join us... u will have to go thru some trials (suggested by Marcus) though I dun quite see the point...
Hopefully we can win this tournament and everyone else loses muhahahaha

My Dad's operation was today...
we reached at 12:30pm but by the time all the procedures were done it was already 1:30pm...
the operation went smoothly... and we left the hospital at 4pm

I have finally come to a decision on where to go tml...
I wun be going out with my fren
Nor my class
Nor my OG

I will accompany my Dad to do his follow-up tml morn =D

Went to watch Fearless with Gary, Kim and Pui Kit today
Nice movie with great fighting scenes...but weird storyline
The whole movie was based on fighting in the ring...just fight fight and fight until the main char realises the real logic behind WuShu

We went to Ang Mo Kio to play pool after dat... for some reason i lost every match =(
Den we ate lunch...Gary and Kim had to go bak to sch for training so me and Pui Kit went home

I wun be free on Tue though... I have to accompany my Dad to hospital for his operation...

On the other hand... I will be xtremely busy on Wed...I got 3 different appointments...muz pick 1 =|
Help me decide... should I go out with my fren,my OG or my PDG???
Why does everyone pick Wed for an outing???

The 'O' levels results release was today... I culd barely sleep last night...
Woke up early this morn... feeling so nervous... culd barely do nething as i think of my results...

2:00pm arrived so soon... I left for sch in heavy footsteps... wasn't very confident in my results...

Turned up at sch at 2:15pm... realised I was late...it started at 2pm =|

After the principal finished his long talk... the form teachers started returning the results... I was so worried...

Finally, I received my results... I looked at it, looked closer and realised it was all true...

I scored NINE points for O levels !!!!!!! =D

So happy now...very happy indeed =D

Had outing last Saturday... too lazy to blog thus the late entry..
Me and (Joan and Marcus) met up at Orchard Mrt.. poor me =(
tio dao by them as they happily chatted... felt like a lightbulb

Neway we went to play pool while waiting for Sun Lu to turn up...

Played 1 on 1 with Marcus... was expecting to get thrashed though
After Marcus got in 6 out of 7 balls... i had 1 out of 7 balls in =)
When he finally got 7 out of 7 balls in... i had 3 out of 7 balls in...
kept poking the white ball out of reach so he couldn't get the black ball in =D
scored 3 in a row... so tyco... marcus finally could hit the black ball cos no more balls blocking...

Beginner's luck still hvent wore off =D i won... cant believe it

Marcus seemed very sad... heng Pui Kit come le or else Joan confirm side him ;)

Won 3/5 pool matches dat day... so happy lol



Neway we went to eat at Ding Tai Feng after meeting up with Sun Lu...shld hv seen marcus's response to the menu...
Wah this one so ex, dat one nt worth it >.<

Nvm... i got used to the prices alrdy...so i had nt much comments...influence by zkai =|

Chingay wasn't much of interest neway... all we saw was pple's head, pple's backs and pple's butt... we just kept walking...

Reached Esplanade at 9:30pm

Just in time for the fireworks =D... but it was the same as Fri's... was great neway...

we went strolling around the area after dat...i think we walked 10km dat day...

Singapore's nightlife is nt bad after all... cos 3 of us and the 2 of em enjoyed ourselves =D

Went home at 11:30pm... nearly tot we culdnt catch the last bus...
Reached home at 12:40am =D...

Had a fun day lol

BTW results release is on FRI 10/2/06 for those pple who still dunno...

The X-country finally arrived ,held at MacRitchie Reservoir
It started late at 3:30pm and I finally found myself at the starting line at 3:40pm

I still decided MacRitchie was a lousy place to do the run due to the uneven grounds in the run...the upslopes simply took all the energy out of me too quickly...

Sadly, i got abandoned by Pui Kit when there was only about 1.5km left in the run =(
Anyway... i managed to finish the run in 78th position...doesnt sound really gd but..
if u look at it from another point of view...my results are:

78th overall (guys)
3rd overall in class =D

Neway we went to Thomson Plaza to eat after dat... no games though... not much happenings today =|

Mahjong at Kim's house was a bad idea... seriously... as i write this i m thinking of my $4.40 loss cos i didnt play much... ahd to leave early =(
I wanna play more to recoup my loss... oh no ... i m addicted to gambling >.<

Today was a great and fun day =D

We bought a cake for Sun Lu and Mabel... nice choco cake =D
I ate a lot...

Then we had a class outing at Marina Bay... and I got to know wad's beginner's luck lol
We went for bowling 1st... i was bowling for the 1st time and when i threw the ball out it crashed loudly on the floor =/ and i got a strike >.<
Everyone was kinda amazed at my luck but neway i did quite badly for the rest of the game =P wasnt last though... 5th out of 10 pple =D

Then we went to fly kite... suggested by Kim
At first we spent some time watching Kim's kite flying very high up while Sun Lu trying to get the kite about 5m high... then me and Gary took over the kite-flying..
I was trying for the first time lol... so many first times today...
It was quite fun really... we managed to get the kites up real high... and by the time we handed it over to Joan and Marcus ;) they let off so much string dat the reel ran out and the kite flew off by itself... it was fun though... i think we got the kite over 100m high =D

After dat we went to eat steamboat... thx to Wee Keong who knew the boss there, we got a $2 discount =D
It was my first time to steamboat (another 1st time) but it was quite interesting despite the rubbery food... as i m typing this my stomach feels like its gonna hurt for some time =|

We played the number game after dat... i tio 3 times for some reason >.< and the last time i didnt even tio at all =|

3 dares...1. drink a weird combo of red bean,durian,crab,prawns,and chicken soup
It tasted great! =D
2. sing a birthday song out loud to myself...doesn't really make sense...my bday's in Nov
3. say chuang qian ming yue guang out loud and declare dat the moon is very round...(barely a crescent) lol... 1 guy actually responded "Are you blind? The moon isn't round!"

ah well... there were so many dares... too lazy to mention all >.<

the night ended with great fireworks from the esplanade... it looked beautiful =D

Reached home at 10:40pm though...my parents dun mind neway =)
