Remember the song I introed a few posts back?
I went to find out more about the 6 songs in that 1 song.

And I was rather impressed to find out that the person who merged the songs actually adjusted the speed of one of the song, I'm yours, to fit into the merged song.
Its already impressive enough that one person can find 6 songs that can synch, but editing the songs to make them synch.. that's one masterpiece.

The original 'I'm Yours' is super slow, and doesn't sound as good as when it was played at 1.4x or 1.5x speed. That's sad to say, but its the truth. Haha.
Maybe Jason Mraz should sing faster next time =D

My mind's unweaving/ 2:40 PM

Its been 3 weeks since I last blogged.
I haven't written about my 2008 aspirations. Hmm.. All I hope is to come out of NS alive 2 years later.. lol.

'A' levels results are coming out in 3 weeks(or so I heard). I really don't feel like picking up my results. Wish I could just burn that miserable piece of paper without looking at it.. Hais. Why are paper qualifications so important in Singapore?

Anyway, my driving lessons are going as planned. I passed my Basic Theory Test yesterday, and so did Chris, who have been going through all the driving stuff with me the whole time.

The people who took the test with us all looked much older.. and there were some which were IT-illiterate. I saw one guy who pressed 'End Test' after doing question one, when he was supposed to press 'Next question'. I can't believe he pressed the wrong button, and even went to press 'Ok' on the confirmation message that popped up.
Man, what a waste. He failed the test instantly, and the instructor couldn't do a thing about it either. Oh well, better luck next time.

Things have been the same at work, except that we have more and more things to do now.

My colleagues have been an inspiring bunch of people. The words they say, the things they do, made me rethink a lot of important things in my life. Responsibility, my future, my career, my life. Its all the things that comes when one steps into adulthood. Its kinda motivating, cos I finally got motivated to find out what accounting is about. It looks like economics, the subject I dread most.. but wait till I find out more about it.

I remember yesterday, when I was lunching with my colleagues. It was the day of my BTT test, and one of them asked me why I didn't sign up as a private candidate. I said that it would have been difficult to find my own instructor, and they actually volunteered to teach me. Haha. That was super nice of them. One of my colleagues even offered to volunteer her car, but she said that I will have to compensate her $15k straight if I crash it. Ouch. I think I will pass on that, lol. At least the SSDC cars are insured. Don't mind crashing those =X

Anyway, most of the guys are in NS now, following the January intake. Its just left with the rest of us April guys still hanging out here in freedom.
Ken has actually been contacting me from Tekong with his handphone that's running out of battery. He's been actively informing me of the horrendous activities that they experience on the first week of NS. The 4km road march.. 15 minutes to shower, clean up, wash clothes.. intense physical activities.. impossibly horrendous fitness levels..

It appears that to get silver for IPPT, the standard is more stringent than getting gold for Napfa. Ouch. I can't even get Silver for Napfa confidently. Man.. 2.5 months left to train up. Only 2.5 months left.. my freedom is counting down so quickly on me. Sigh.

That reminds me. My colleagues also asked me why I wasn't planning to take this opportunity to go overseas. I really should.. but the problem is that I have no idea who I can go overseas with. Hah. My family is too busy to spare anytime overseas, and that has been the case for the past 10 years or so.
I really wouldn't mind taking my last week before NS to go overseas.. considering that I won't be working for my last 9 days of freedom.
Sigh. But then again.. Who to go with?

Lately, I have been feeling like I got noone to talk to. It has been extremely frustrating lately. Wish I could just get it all out of me.
The person I used to confide in is getting harder and harder to talk to. It almost feels like I am being shunned away from. I hope its just my imagination going awry.. We used to confide in each other, but now.. Its like I am trying to talk, but noone's listening. Hais.. tell me truthfully.. Are you avoiding me...? I doubt I will ever get an answer.

January is coming to an end.. and Chinese New Year is coming.
According to this email my collegaue received, its auspicious for people born in the Snake year to start work on the 9th Feb or 13th Feb. Man, that means I am going to have an inauspicious year. That's because I am starting work on the 11th Feb!! Ahhhh! I think I will go read and answer an email related to work on 9th Feb. Cos it doesn't define what it means by working =P

I want an auspicious year, if I am going to come out of NS alive!!!

Ok here's the end of a random post marked with random thoughts. I have written about everything that I could think of on my mind right now.
Dunno when I will be blogging again.. so wish everyone good luck for their results in advance.. especially the 'O' level candidates who are getting their results next week, though I can't think of anyone I know getting their 'O' level results.. lol.

That's all then.
