Woke up to a fine morning.
Decided that I will do my homework!
Yes I am gonna mug!
Attempt to mug: failed
ended up gaming 70% of the time.
I have a terrible headache now.
The source is not my homework
Its cos of these 2 mentos-es
today i saw 2 flavours of mentos which i hvent seen b4 in some provision shop
so i decided to try it out
and i finished both of it
now i have a headache
i probably wun be touching mentos for at least 3 months
argh. suddenly i m starting to dread it.
Michael suddenly called me to go over to his house.
So I went... whew a break from mugging
we danced for a while.(The dancing game on playstation, not with each other)
i realised how bad i was at is
Michael's gd at it
his score was constantly A and higher
mine was E and lower
E's the lowest score
hahahaha
Its a gd form of exercise
We were all sweating after that
I think i improved a bit.
Cos I managed to score D thrice.
Den he introduced me to his songs
OMG there's a tonne of it
rmb to send me some nice songs thx =)
I suddenly remembered I didn't go anywhere =) (Only Michael will understand what this line means)

Oh yea. Suddenly I feel like telling you all about this very interesting game they were playing.
There's this circle of chairs and everyone stands behind a chair each.
When the narrator says Left, they go to the next chair on the left and when the narrator says right, they go to the next chair on the right.
And that's about how the story goes:
One day, Miss
Left decided to go to the supermarket. She
left her house and walked down the
right street towards the
right corner and turned
left. When she turned
left at the
right corner, she met Mr.
Right. Both of them decided to go and eat at a restaurant at the
left corner. When they reached the restaurant, a couple suddenly stormed out of the door and bumped
right into them. Miss
Left and Mr.
Right wondered why the couple were storming off and they decided to go
right in to find out. As they went in, Miss
Left and Mr.
Right picked a seat at the
right corner. The waiter refused to serve them however and Miss
Left and Mr.
Right understood why the previous couple had
left.
Mr.
Right said: "You better serve us now before we leave
right away!"
The waiter replied: "You can leave
right now. Anyway, the two of you are the last two customers
left in the shop."
And sure enough, their food never came. So
Miss Left and Mr.
Right left the shop angrily.
Ok this story defers a lot from the original story... but you get the general idea.
Anytime anyone moves wrongly, the whole thing restarts.
Rather sad for all of them... but on average most groups finished it in about 3 to 5 times.
Except 1 group. Where the councillor on duty was so strict, she punished them for doing it wrongly and restarted at every minor mistake. As a result, that group had to do 35 jumping jacks. Sounds easy? The same councillor had given them 90 pushups EACH in the previous station. Now that sounds bad. When we were leaving, they were doing 45 pushups first... Sad life.

Dear Diary,
I think I am going crazy. Today, I felt very high for no reason. Maybe there's a reason, but I cant think of it at the moment.
Today, I was spamming literaturistic phrases throughout a whole Dota game.
And I don't know wad sort of a word "literaturistic" is
But you get the idea.
Anyway I am starting to say weird stuff.
I don't sound much like myself
I think I am really going crazy.
Maybe I will calm down tommorrow.
Yes! Tommorow i will do my homework!
Ok that sounds totally crazy.
I am in too good a mood now.
This entry is to jerk my memory back when I go crazy and forget who I am.
The above line is yet another sentence written by a crazy author.
My mind's unweaving/ 11:14 PM
Today was Day 1 of AB Camp and Delta Experience
I was on PS duty for covering the afternoon activities.
Oh my they spent 2 hours inside classrooms
and another 2 hours out on the field/aj square
Went around featuring many pple at the camp in my shots.
Lets see who I took...
There were Shirley, Nashita, Lydia, Jewel, Gary in my shots.
I didn't take any of Zheng Kai nor Wee Keong cos they posed whenever i directed the camera at them. Those shots will never get into the school magazine. Forget it.
I couldn't include Wei Yi in my shots cos she was standing slightly too far away from her other group members.
I couldn't take one of Sun Lu either cos I didn't get a chance to do so.
Is that everyone in the camp?
The shots of Shirley and Nashita are bound to get filtered. Sadly.
Lydia's and Jewel's shots will probably get through.
I ain't sure abt Gary's shot...anyway I only took his back =/
I hope my shots get through.
I learnt many new stuff today about event coverage today.
Thanks to Hui Ping and Hin Ho for their guidance.

Hi pple. I am a happy guy today =)
Woke up slightly later than planned.
Decided to ask my mom whether I could make an ATM card
So I went: "Mom, I am thinking of making an ATM card..." (in chinese)
Mom: "Ok. Go make one now then." (in chinese too)
wait a moment. no hesistation? no questions? not even a hint of disagreement?
Wow. i love my mom. she rox!
The bank queue wasn't that long. 10min spent queueing. 5 min spent at the counter.
They have gd services. My card was ready in 5 min.
went for breakfast with my mom. then i went off for PW
Amanda called me as I reached outside the MRT station. venue was moved to AMK library. Whew.
If i boarded the train I would have a long long long distance to walk.
I was kinda surprised when I reached the AMK library.
There were 4 out of 5 PW groups there!
22/06 has unanimously met at the library... at umm a nice corner of the library
Chatted. Joked. Laughed there. Read
comics reference books and encyclopedias. Its so fun chatting with the peeps.
Sigh. Haven't felt so happy for some time.
we got thrown out later though. They said they wanted to do storytelling session there.
Opps. I didn't say which nice corner were we at, did I? =)
Went for lunch with Marcus and Leon and someone I didn't know.
We decided to go pooling later.
Oh gd. The 1st day of the hols start with pooling. This is a gd start.
I realised that 9-ball is as fun as 8-ball pool.
We should play 9-ball more often =)
Oh my. The stuff they talk about. Remind me to stay away from such stuff.

Omg sia.
today woke up thinking it was a nice bright morning.
Looked at the clock.
15:08.
ok I must be still dreaming...looked again
it IS 3pm!
wth i only slept at 1am last night lor
usually i sleep at 3am and wake up at 1pm
wah i slept for 15 hours!
ok so i lost the whole morning and half the afternoon to sleep.
haha nvm i feel so refreshed now
its a new day!
ate breakfast/lunch
my dad said he bought it for me 5 hours ago.
Hahahaha
suddenly decided to get down to project work research
surfed online for a while and realised that the information online was very limited
So i went to the library.
Hmmm havent been to the library for years. yes YEARS.
ok so I began wondering if i could even borrow books in the 1st place
went to check my I.C. card on the machine
What I got was:
Invalid ID.
Record not found.
dots. I am non-existent after all?
I checked with the counter. The staff there told me that my ID had been blocked in 1999 cos I lost my I.D. card then so they blocked it to protect any abuse of my ID
ok so that's ummm 7 years ago.
Maybe its a bit late to find out 7 years later but at least I know it now =)
The bad thing about this is probably that i cant use my own ID freely =(
hmm i got a new library card cos i cant borrow with my IC.
the $5 charge emptied my cash card haha. and i cant top it up without a Nets card.
Ok I am getting a Nets card tmr. That will be gd enuff to solve my problems.
the staff unblocked my ID for me so i could make a new library card
then they blocked it again.
Spent 5 min finding the books cos I already did my research before coming.
Knew exactly where to look for the books
AMK library hasnt changed much after so many years
I am waiting for them to finish building the Bishan library
then i will have a library within 5 min of me =)
and Bishan library is big! bigger than the AMK one
and its a few storeys high!
its shld be done in July this year. I think.

PS seminar was this morning.
Thanks to everyone who came to support though I don't think anyone I knew turned up.
I was busy doing ushering this morning.
Then the Mediacorp bus came.
Quite a few stars came... though I don't know their names =/
But there was Li Nan Xin. Hey i know one name!
there was Ruan mianmian too. That's her name in the drama series "tong xin yuan"
i dunno her real name.
Wait I am supposed to be doing ushering here!
Anyway there were 4 activities going on that day.
1. Photographic Society Seminar at Auditorium
2. University Faculty Talk for JC2 parents at Hall
3. "Teach to learn" for History teachers at LT3
4. Something by the interact club at LT4
Most of the parents were under the impression that their talk were at the auditorium
As a result many parents were being directed to the PS seminar.
I heard some of them complaining that they were told to go the wrong way =/
Oh well. Information breakdown to the parents previously I suppose.
Oh ya I saw someone looking very very familiar today.
He drove into a parking lot.
Then he got out of his car.
And he walked towards me to ask for directions to the History seminar
I wasn't sure so i said: Mr....Krishnan?
And he suddenly went "Oh hi! haven't seen you for some time!"
dots.
He wasn't my teacher at any point of time.
He was just my lecturer so he wouldn't have known me anyway.
dots.
Anyway he commented that there were a lot of Cat High pple in AJ this year.
And he told me Mr Danny Tan was coming too.
I was looking foward to seeing him
but I never did see him in the end.
=(
I headed over to the auditorium for my next job: event coverage
me and lydia were covering the event together with hinho.
the lighting wasn't that bad after all.
*fast foward*
----- 3 hours later -----
its finally break time.
those talks were very very long but kinda interesting.
and the auditorium is freakin cold.
my wrists were getting tired from holding the camera.
And we didn't get our break.
During the break, we had to go around taking photos of pple hving their break.
Swallowed down some food just before we returned to the auditorium.
*fast foward again*
-----3 hours later----
Omg Lance Lee talked for 1 hr+ straight.
He was only given 45 min of time..
Its too lengthy... and his photos are.. dunno how to describe
Its unlikely that we can achieve those type of photos...
the whole PS stayed back for the debrief session.
me and lydia were mentioned for the effort we put in for setting up the exhibition =D
oh did i mention that i stayed back in sch ytd till 8pm+ to set up a nice looking exhibiton for the seminar? me and lydia were the only 2 J1s across the whole PS who stayed back =/
and they suddenly announced that they were going to announce the exco for 2006.
So they start from the back...
Project Manager: Ming Jun
Lenswoman (did i spell it right?) : Annette
Dark Room Mistress: Han Bin
Secretary: Jia Min
Treasurer: Me =/
Chief College Photographer: Lydia
Vice President: Jia Ying
President: Charissa
Lemme do a quick analysis of PS's exco this year.
1. 22/06 has 3 out of 8 exco positions =d
2. PS has 1 guy and 7 gals in the exco (you dun need me to point out who's the guy do u?)
3. I am surprised at the results of the exco
Ok so i am in PS exco now.
1 year ahead of me.
Wish me good luck.
Oh yea something interesting happened today.
I was wondering if choir had finished yet as i walked to the mrt
was thinking of dragging zkai and chris for lunch
den i went up the escalator and saw part of the choir in front of me.
i heard that the previous train was "Do not Board" so they had been waiting
wow. so zhun.
must be destined for em to eat with me =D
ate with chris and howard anyway.
zkai vanished.
"It has just begun..."

Alright Tian Xiang tagged me so I will do him a favour by doing this for him.
Ten random facts about me:
1. I live my life simply. My blogskin reflects myself. Simple. At first many people told me that this blogskin doesn't suit me at all when i first started using it. I was told that my characteristic wasn't like that. I didn't mention this then but all I can say now is that I chose this blogskin the 1st time i set my eyes on it. Thus, simplicity is what is true inside me.
2. I love my friends. For a long period of time, I didn't see my parents often. Thus, I grew closely bonded to my friends. Its still the same today, where friends are part of my life. Losing a friend is like losing a part of myself, gaining a friend is like discovering new strength. To me, friends are extremely important.
3. I might not be what everyone sees.Sad to say, I have constantly been shielding my true thoughts and emotions with an image, an image which I have tried to remove multiple times but failed. If you can sense that I am giving off fake laughter or showing fake smiles, I am probably sad. If I look sad, I am probably devastated. Honestly, I haven't been truly happy for some time...
4. My character has changed a lot since I stepped into JC life.Since I entered JC life, I have let my true self free. My character today is a sharp contrast of what I was in the past. I was forced by circumstances to live behind a mask in secondary school. Believe it or not, I used to be violent, get into fights and was a bad influence. Look at me today, and you will not believe my past. I still remember what my friends who have known me since secondary school told me when they looked at me again after some time in JC. "XC, you sure have changed a lot."
5. I used to be introverted. I once took a hard blow at the PSLE exams. I don't think anyone really knew this but the main reason why I did not take on any leadership positions nor participate actively in anything in secondary school was because I had been hit hard by my results. At that time, my confidence in myself had totally been shattered and I was going to the extent of giving up on myself. This is quite true as I remember that I had once failed 6 out of 8 subjects in Secondary 1. I don't remember why and how but I did pick myself up again and put in enough effort to promote to Secondary 2. I stayed at the near-bottom of the class for 3 years, keeping myself away from leadership and outcasting myself from everyone except a close circle of friends. Naturally, these friends never did believe that I was introverted then, but I suggest that you all think back. Do you ever remember me going beyond this circle of friends?
6. One of my accomplishments in life was to pull out from my gaming addiction.I used to be deeply addicted to gaming. Most of my friends from secondary school would agree to this. I didn't do homework, and everyday as I reached home, I would just turn on the computer and play. My parents knew about it, but they could not do anything about it, so they let me be. So, for my introverted life in secondary school, I played almost every computer game I could get my hands on. I exceled at many different games, and was known as a gaming pro, but may I ask this... what use is it to be a gaming pro? My addiction lasted for 4 solid years in secondary school, and all the way till the start of JC life. I wouldn't say my parents didn't bother about me totally, I would have said that they had given up telling me to stop playing. My mom often lectured me, telling me not to play so much, but as soon as she left for work I would be on the computer. Addiction is very terrible, trust me, don't ever let yourself fall into it. I pulled out of my gaming addiction somehow, at the start of my JC life. I can't remember exactly how, and why, but I know that it probably has something to do with the influence I received at that point of time that made me cut down sharply on my gaming. To give statistics on how bad gaming addiction can get, I would say that I used to play at least 6 hours a day up to as high as 15 hours a day. 6 hours a day refer to weekdays, while 15 hours refer to weekends. This means that I had practically spent every second of my time gaming, every day, every week.
How did I get addicted to this gaming then? Actually the answer is quite simple. In secondary school, I naturally had my own troubles. But since I had no real opportunity to have a long chat with my parents, I tended to vent my troubles out on gaming. Slowly, as time passed, I got addicted to gaming. I realised that gaming was the only area where I could get happiness from.
As a result, I was unable to pull myself out. I only sank deeper.
I would also like to tell all the gamers out there that gaming should only be treated as a pasttime, and not part of your life. If you realise that you have become addicted to gaming, force yourself out of it as soon as possible. Don't tell yourself that you can quit easily, because I told myself that for 2 years, and I never did manage to quit. If you want a good way of spending your time, start blogging. It improves your English and helps you in expressing your thoughts. Don't ever get addicted to gaming like I did. You will definitely regret it one day.
7. I live my life by certain principles.Sounds complicated? Actually it isn't. If you can live your life by principles, positive ones of course, this means that you are a person with backbone. I admit I am not perfect yet, as there are always times where I go against my own principles, though it does not happen often. One principle which I have lived by for some time had been quite beneficial to me in my academic results. Many people said that I was smart, but let me tell you this, I am just the same like all of you. What makes me different from everyone else is the principle I live by with regards to homework. I always make sure that I do my own homework, and I will never copy homework. I will either do my homework myself, or I will not do it at all. This is because copying homework is not beneficial to us, and on the contrary it might even affect us negatively. I know many people reading this has probably done a lot of copying already, and I hope you do not hold a grudge against me for what I am saying. I am the same as all of you, but when I am forced to do my homework, I do it myself, and through that process I learn. I am forced to learn, but at least it is beneficial for me. By copying homework, nothing has been learnt, thus you will have to work harder before exams to grasp the theories that could have better be learnt through homework. On the other hand, I don't have to study as much for I have already understood the theory when I placed it to use in my assignments. I am definitely nowhere smarter than any of you, its just that I have a principle that drives me on.
8. I support freedom of speech.Yup. Its great to say whatever you want. If you have something you want to say, just say it all out. It doesn't feel good to surpress what you want to say. I know that I am often blunt with my words, and many people have felt offended by what I said. I must apologise for that because I usually blurt things out too quickly before thinking. But hey, freedom of speech rox!
9. I can be serious at times.Hey I know i am quite crappy but there's a serious side in me too. Usually you can easily tell when I am joking, but when I get serious, I mean everything I say. And when I get serious, I can really get down to work. I still love slacking though.
10. I might get lost in town.Yea. Orchard Road is like so long and wide. I still haven't memorised the location of every shopping centre in town yet, but I am learning. When I was in seconday school, I didn't even go to town at all. Guys just don't gather to go shopping in town you know... so I first stepped into town during the 1st 3 months. Since then, I have been to town quite a few times. Its quite a nice place to stroll you know. Anyone want to volunteer to go town with me? Then I can start figuring out where each shopping centre is =)

Aha hahaha we didn't get a scolding after all.
Yim only wanted to check 5 pple's reading files
I still got 3 more GP articles to finish.
I guess it will take some time to finish them as usual =)
Tml is the LAST day of term 2 !!!
There's also a geo test tml
i will fail it perfectly.
Ha. My geog knowledge is nil.
Today we were told to go and create a newspaper commentary blog.
Where we must write a weekly commentary and yim will go check if we did our work.
I thought it only applied to our class.
It turns out other classes are doing the same thing too.
I tried to design my own blogskin... after failing i decided to settle it another day.
Here's my newspaper blog:
http://commentingonthenews.blogspot.comIts a very very poor attempt to simulate the Strait Times Forum page.
I will improve on it when i have the time.
Don't ask me why I bother to spend so much time designing a pointless blog.
I don't know why either. I just like it and its a good way to waste my time away =)
Why do we have so much homework for the hols?
Sighz~ I wun be enjoying this hols as much as I should.
Is anyone gonna study?
Not feeling as good as today. What's the source of my sadness?Deep down in my heart I know... but there's nothing to be done about it...
My mind's unweaving/ 9:59 PM
Yawnz~ its 1 am.
I am typing out this entry cos I got nothing better to do haha.
Been rushing GP articles for 2 nights.
Did 5 last night till 2:30am
now its 1 am and i have done 6 articles tonight.
I still got 4 more GP articles to go.
I guess I will stop soon.
I need more energy for tmr.
Its PE, followed by
two hours of GP and about
three hours of Chinese.
As the saying goes: "Lessons can put you to sleep, especially when you have no energy left in you."
Ok thats actually my own saying. Anyway its really getting late.
Good night pple.
I will be telling you about the scolding we got for not doing our GP articles later.
Haha its so expected.

Today was half-day at school.
Lol i slept at 2am last night
this morn... went for maths lecture
the instant i sat on my seat i collapsed in exhaustion.
it was a nice sleep
woke up 1 min before the bell went off
perfect timing too.
econs lesson turned out to be a re-enactment of physics yesterday.
Except that for econs there were even lesser people.
9 pple turned up for econs today.
at least ytd we had 11 pple for physics.
the teacher was distinctly unhappy.
demanded for them to come to the lesson.
threatened to report to mrs low.
yea. wadever.
neway i was one of the 9 who turned up.
is anyone surprised here?
everyone came in the end.
Oh well...
Went for NYAA talk at 11am
ZzZ wad a boring talk
and it lasted 45 min...
now i got this booklet to fill up
psst zkai. iceskating this hols?
wad abt the rest of ya pple?
ne1 wanna go iceskating during hols?
invite me pls
i need to fill up that tiny book.
PS lasted 4 hours for me.
i heard everyone was dismissed at 2pm long ago.
I left the school at 3:45pm
was helping them to pack the goodie bags for this Saturday.
And practising event coverage on guitar concert rehearsal.
I think guitar concert is not bad.
Value for money.
But I dun understand the story abt the cow.
Can someone be kind enough to explain?
Oh ya pple.
Pls come and support the PS seminar this Saturday
its from 8:30am - 1 pm at the AJC auditorium
and u get a free goodie bag if u come!
i wun tell u wads in dat goodie bag
except that it took ages to prepare em.
Sigh. This Saturday I will be busy.
1. Kah Hwee couldnt turn up so i had to stand in for him as usherer.
2. I am doing event coverage for the PS seminar.
3. I will probably be taking shots alone.
I hope the photos turn out well. Cos I will probably be doing the shots on manual settings and manual produces both the best and worst photos lolz
Imagine screwing up photos taken at a photo seminar.
Ha.
Still not feeling good. The sadness lingers.

Today they announced sth.
Tml's a half-day
supposedly in recognition of the efforts put in by Basketball and Volleyball.
Tml's also CCA day.
hmmm hw nice.
Nvm. I sound sarcastic.
Anyway it didn't come as a surprise to me cos I alrdy heard abt it b4 hand.
I hope tml turns out fine.
I havent had a happy day for ages.
Many sad days of course.
I am never happy. Never have been since...
Actually I don't know when I was last happy.
I am too used to being sad.
Its part of my life you know?
My holiday plans are still as empty as ever.
I am already definite that I will be spending the whole June hols alone. Feeling lonely.
Who will bother anyway?
Ignore me, I am just here muttering to myself.
Is there a way to go back in time?
I want to return to the past, return to happier moments, return to true joy.

Yea this blog has hit its 100th post. I m surprised myself... didn't know i have been blogging for so long. I guess it has become a habit =)
Hmmm considering how many posts I have i should backup my blog soon.
I will probably do it this weekend.
If any of you wanna know how to backup a blog just ask me. I will be glad to help =)
Backing up a blog means saving all ur entries to a soft copy.
But uploading a blog backup is nearly impossible.
Haha its just for making sure everything you typed out doesnt disappear for gd.
I created this blog on 23rd January 2006. That's its birthday =)
Remind me to celebrate its 1st anniversary next year.
Ah ha. Bet not everyone knew that. As a matter of fact if you search "Luke281913" on any search engines, all articles you find is probably related to me. Noone else uses a nick like this haha.
Hmmm maybe I will explain again what this nick represents.
For the name "Luke", I used to be a "Star Wars" fan.
So that probably tells enough where "Luke" came from...
just in case you don't know what "Star Wars" is, Luke is one of the main characters of the story. And Star Wars was written by George Lucas.
For the numbers, my index number used to be "28" in Pr.5 to Pr.6
And my index number was "19" in Secondary 1 to 2
And "13" in Secondary 3 to 4
Thus this unique nick was formed. One nick that can never be found anywhere else =)
(I was using "Luke28" from Pri 6 to Sec 2 and began using "Luke281913" only in Sec 3)
Yes! Thanks everyone for your support! Although my current hits counter is not very accurate since I removed it for a period of time sometime ago... still 6k hits is good enough =)
Right... now for the actual blog entry.
Yea! Gd news to tell u all!
In today's PE they announced that only those who failed Napfa must go back to sch during June hols for extra training!
This means that I dun have to go back to sch during june hols for extra training nemore!!!
But I will still train up =)
Sch training is 2 hrs each session, twice a week.
Whew... I am so lucky.
To those people who expressed great surprise that I passed my Napfa:
Hmmmmph. After June hols I sure become fitter than now.
I am so sad that pple were surprised that I passed Napfa =(
Physics and Economics today were both boring.
I cant remember which one was boring-er.
Both mainly involved doing an exercise which is due sometime. But I dun care.
GP! O yea I failed my gp test.
By half a mark!
Yim's hinting on a specific GP remedial for "weak" students.
>_< I guess I have some extra lessons after all.
How do you study for GP anyway?
Its funny how the weather works.
Whenever we have PE where it involves running on the track
it is bound to rain just before PE begins.
So we all are forced into the tiny MPH(multi-purpose hall) where we are tortured to the very limits and stretched beyond what we can take.
All the poor students in there, trapped behind closed doors, and made to go through physical torture. Can you imagine that? I think I prefer running.
Today, there was nothing to do at PE. They said those who passed Napfa could just go and play games/do wadever you want. After PE, it started pouring.
So I guess the rain always work to one's disadvantage. Sigh~
But it was fun crapping with the peeps at the canteen.
While waiting for the rain to stop.
Btw Ohana's straws sux.
All of them have a hole in em or sth?
But the drink is gd. I guess it makes up for the differences.
Den surprisingly Jiamin started playing chess with Gary.
And soon that *ahem* term started coming in.
Mabel started commenting that I was after all once a PC²-er and part of the PC² club
And I was supposedly good at PC²-ing
Ummm TX?

Today was AJC vs HCI basketball finals
i went down with the same pple + a few more to the same place again
Toa Payoh Sports Hall
same court too
the match started off quickly before everyone was seated cos they were rushed for time i think
culdnt find nice seats... everyone was standing for some reason
i rmb watching the volleyball match sitting down
AJC scored the first point.
Good start i suppose. But HCI was no pushover either.
they retaliated and evened up the score quickly.
I thought basketball was supposed to be a simple game.
I was wrong after all.
At one point of time, the ball perhaps hit someone's foot and it started rolling away.
One of the players pounced on the ball. Yeah pounce. You could say he jumped and ended up lying on top of the ball.
Then 2 other players from the other team pounced on him.
Wads this? Rugby?
There were multiple injuries during the match today. So i guess basketball is more violent than i think it is.
Something interesting happened at the end of the third quarter. I thought i would only see that on TV.
AJC was leading by 2 points. And nearing the end of the third quarter, HCI was on the offensive.
5 seconds left. one of the HCI players passed the ball.
3 seconds left. the player holding the ball moved foward.
2 second left. he jumped.
1 second left. he tossed the ball.
The horn that signalled the end of the third quarter sounded.
All eyes were on the ball as it flew threw the air as if in slow motion...
and it went thru the net. A 3-pointer. HCI took the lead by 1 point.
Gd thing that was only the 3rd quarter.
The game slowly moved into the forth quarter. AJC and HCI was tied at 32-32. Then AJC scored.
A 3-pointer.
We were leading by 3 points with about 8 minutes to the end of the game.
That was supposed to be good sign but things turned out differently after that.
HCI scored. twice.
the score moved to 35-36.
The HCI team were attacking furiously but it was too violent i guess.
AJC was awarded a penalty shot.
The 1st ball scored. 36-36.
The 2nd ball missed. HCI took the ball and scored.
Only 3 minutes left to the end of the match.
HCI scored yet again.
The game turned very violent at this point of time.
The AJC team fouled repeatedly.
it was 33 seconds left and the score was at 40-36.
then HCI was awarded a penalty shot. Scored.
The game was over from that point of time.
Nevertheless the AJC team fought well. I am sure they will grab the championship next year.

Napfa's over
I didn't make it
sigh.
Pull-ups: 2 ==> E
Shuttle Run: 10.0 ==> A
Sit-ups: 47 ==> A
Standing Broad Jump: 215 ==> E
Sit and Reach: 37 ==> D
2.4 km: 10:23 ==> A
19 points Bronze =(
SBJ was probably the worst station
cos i jumped 222 on the 1st try and the teacher said i faulted
so i retried and got 215
D grade is 216
i asked whether i culd retake again
she said "no, i still have to go to another lesson"
wdh cant she spare only 10 seconds of her "precious" time?
so unreasonable
nvm... i will work hard to get my silver for napfa on 1st week of June hols
i dun wanna come back for extra training during the whole June hols
We had oral for Chinese today
She asked about blogs
Hmmm interesting topic
I believe i know enough about em.

Today was AJC's guys volleyball team's finals against TJC!
the match was fantastic
went down with many other pple to
Toa Payoh Sports Halltoo many pple to name so i wun name everyone =P
but mainly its the 1306 peeps (even zhao cai mao was dere!)
the 1st round was totally thrashing by AJC
they ended the match quickly with a score of
25-11but i thought they might have spent too much energy on that round
AJC lost to TJC in the 2nd and 3rd round =(
with scores of
22-25 and
16-25dat was really very worrying...
quite tense atmosphere then
but the 4th round ended with a fantastic score of
25-15! AJC rox!
and the 5th and last round came
AJC took a lead of 2 points at the beginning and soon the score was at
10-8quite tense... den TJC scored
10-9omg... but our team didnt give in so easily!
the score rose gradually with each move by the players becoming swifter than the next
the score hit
14-11AJC was only ONE point away from the championship
and with a neat combo, the ball hit the ground, scoring the last point for AJC!!!
Yay!!! AJC won the volleyball championship!!!
congrats to the volleyball team!
I got my chinese compo back today
the one where i featured mr toh as a wonderful teacher that changed me
OMG i m so surprised
i actually scored
81.67% for that essay! and the teacher said 13 out of 16 pple wrote off-topic!
omg...
mr toh will be so proud of me =D
thx mr toh cos when i saw the essay question u were the 1st teacher i thought of =)
at least the 1st paragraph is purely facts
while the rest of the story is fiction
i m still very amazed

today's SPA makes up 2.5% of my A level Physics!!!
it can be considered a lot... or very little
depends on one's perspective i guess
i stayed in school till 4:45 pm today
spent most of the time doing nothing
was wondering if anyone wanted to go eat dinner with me
gave up the thought and went home
haix~ i still got PW to do
went online today...
saw something that hit me hard into reality
pls dun say stuff that u know will irritate me tml
or i will lose my temper on u
i swear
i m seriously in a terrible mood now
other than those of u whom u know that i treat u as a close fren
the rest... please please dun bug me tml
i hate flaring up
when that happens i m afraid of even myself...Bug me all you want. I cheered up already.

wahh today is mon again
the very very very long day
Mrs Ho is finally on maternity leave. there goes our econs teacher.
that means we wont be seeing her for some time
mrs low replaced her for 1 day today
hmm she gave us a worksheet and told us to finish it. nothing much.
mr lim is away on reservist. there goes our physics teacher.
so we had another teaching replacing him today
a rather young teacher. quiet too. a bit too quiet i think.
oh and i failed physics. i hope mr lim is in a fantastic mood when he comes back.
so he can take the impact bit by bit.
geo tutorial ended half an hour early.
all we got was a scolding for being unprepared for the presentation
and only my group was supposed to hand up a reflection letter.
aiya. i really forgot abt preparing for it >_<
went to play basketball with the rest since we ended so early anyway
hmmm i hvent played basketball previously unless i had to
cos i felt inferior with my poor bball skills
but i realised today that bball is actually quite fun =)
i still think my bball skills sux
but hey... there's always a starting point!
change in perspectives i guess...
i shld play bball more often
marcus bounced the ball into 3 of my fingers today
ow. dat really hurt sia.
but it aint deterring me from playing bball =D
i m persistent. wait till i break every finger of mine then i might reconsider.
PE was as slack as ever today.
he told those pple who had alrdy gotten gold/silver for 2.4km to run 4 rounds
while the rest ran 6 rounds
i did 4 rounds in nearly 10 minutes
wow ar.
i guess i was a bit slow.
after that all he did was going through techniques of 5 stations
nothing much actually
i realised today that i can do 2 pull-ups finally =O
but its on the bar at the fitness corner
which is much lower than the actual bar
hopefully i will pass my pull-ups this thurs
but it wuld be nicer to get a silver of cos =D
i saw this very very very familiar blue shirt next to me while walking up the steps of Bishan MRT today
turned to my left and saw LHB next to me
o.O wad a conincidence
our 30 second conversation went like this:
"Hi, Mr Lee!"
"Hello, you are in AJ?"
"Ya."
"How's it like there?"
"Not bad." (avoided mentioning the pathetic state of the school and the poor food cos his poor son was being tortured there like me too)
"You are J1 this year?"
"Ya."
"Ok."
"Bye Mr Lee!"
"Bye." (maybe i should have mentioned the poor state of AJ to get him to donate some money after all)
Wad an interesting conversation =/
But i think he recognises me now
cos i met him the other time when i went to collect my 'O' level certificate too
he doesnt look as tired as i expected. haha i was thinking he should have dark rings all around his eyes trying to think of ways to force formulas and textbooks into the poor Sec 4's heads.
i still feel sad for the Sec 4s this year.

While random surfing
Wikiquote today, I came across two interesting quotes by
Leo Buscaglia which i thought i should share with everyone.
A wonderful realization will be the day you realize that you are unique in all the world. There is nothing that is an accident. You are a special combination for a purpose— and don't let them tell you otherwise, even if they tell you that 'purpose is an illusion.' (Live an illusion if you have to).You are that combination so that you can do what is essential for you to do.Don't ever believe that you have nothing to contribute. The world is an incredible unfulfilled tapestry. And only you can fulfill that tiny space that is yours. Yes, we are all unique. All of us have a role to play in life and none of us are insignificant. Live your lives well and live it to the best. We all have a purpose in life, a purpose which we must fufil and will fufil. Then, life will be meaningful.
To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. To reach out for another is to risk involvement. To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.To place your ideas, your dreams, before a crowd is to risk their loss.To love is to risk not being loved in return. To live is to risk dying. To hope is to risk failure. But risks must be taken.Because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. If you risk nothing and do nothing, you dull your spirit. You may avoid suffering and sorrow, but you cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, and live.Chained by your attitude, you are a slave. You have forfeited your freedom.Only if you risk are you free. To take a big step, we must always take risks in life. So be brave everyone, and lets take that big step forward. If we fail, its just a lesson we have learnt in life. After that, stand up again and move on.
Taking careful steps will only slow us down and restrict our movements. But its safe. While taking slow steps, I have the confidence that i will not fall.
I admit I myself do not like taking risks either. I always prefer to move along the safe path as I am afraid to fail. I am afraid of failure, thus I don't take risks. But to make a bigger step, I must take risks. I will learn to fall, to stand up again and to move on.
As we fall, we go through pain and sufferings.
Emotional pain.
We will definitely fall in life at some point of time.
None of us are perfect.
Lets just take it as a risk taken, a risk failed, a lesson learnt.
And let's move on. And be proud of ourselves.
Cause we have learnt, felt, changed, grown, loved, and lived
And we are free.

Today's trip to Sentosa was cancelled
Everyone's happy that they culd sleep till 11am haha
i was woken up at 9:50 by
Marcus's call
i spent 1 hr after that answering calls and sending out smses on deciding another outing
we decided to go to town
Pooling. Strolling. and breathing in the nice fresh air. wad a nice change to boredom at home
Met up with
Joan,
Kim and
Pui Kit at 12:30 at J8
as usual i was late cos we were meeting in Bishan
if we met somewhere like at Jurong East i will probably arrive exactly on time
but if its bishan... for some reason i m always late haha
went with Joan to buy a new bag at dunno-wad-that-place-is-called
met up with
Marcus outside the Mrt
And we went to town
went pooling at
Lucky PlazaGary met us there
i was in the perfect mood to play pool =)
we took 2 tables
i dominated one table for some time
Marcus dominated the other for about the majority of the time there
i concluded that my pool will turn out fine when i m in the mood to play it
played very well today =)
much better than the previous few times
i did a wonderful trick shot today
so impressed at myself
did a perfect jump ball and shot the ball in
i m so surprised
its my 1st try at a jump shot
i guess its part of my unholy skill : tyconess
i hv been told to use more of my pool skills when playing rather than my tyco skill
i will try then =)
we played for about 3.5 hrs b4 leaving for dinner
went to eat at
TakashimayaKim recommended us to go to some place to eat
what's it called again?
Pepper something... Pepper Steak?
den she left to eat dinner with some of her frens
seems like we got to cook our own food there
my arm was tired from mixing the food. haha
culdnt decide where to go after that
we didn't want to go home
so we went out of taka and started strolling
decided to go to
The Cathay just to look at the building
the construction's not completed yet though
although the cineplex is already open
suddenly decided to go play lan at
Paradiz CentreMarcus and
Gary suddenly perked up
seems like they havent gone to lan for ages
haha we were supposed to be teaching
Joan Dota
Dota was great
2 matches
the 1st match was -ar (all random)
2nd match was -ap (all pick)
me n
Pui Kit vs
Marcus and
Gary1st match ended very soon indeed
while 2nd match was quite close until we were nearing the end of the game
won both games =)
we played CS after that and we realised it was 9:30pm!
omg when did it get so late?
decided to go home then
Gary didnt feel like going home 1st so he went to stroll at
Plaza Singapurawhile the rest of us went home
I really enjoyed myself for the whole of today
Thanks all for making me so happy today =)
lets go out again soon haha
i will never have enough outings =D

I made a sudden decision to go to the choir concert this morn
and i took 20 min to convince jia xin to go along with me =)
today's lessons appeared to be very fast
PE was self-training
i wasnt feeling well during PE
suddenly it was over
dunno when so its ok
GP was our GP test
so as the way tests goes, GP ended very soon indeed
during Chinese we did an essay
translated to eng : Write abt a teacher dat changed you
my essay featured toh
lol
we all finished it quite late
so we had to stay back for an xtra half hr to finish the essay
thus the day ended n it seemed quite short indeed
went to J8 for lunch with marcus joan gary leon
strolled around J8 after dat
met wee keong with his anderson sec frens
window shopped around till joan left
continued window shopping
wee keong joined us ltr and commented that cat high pple liked shopping tgt for some reason
so we all 5 guys window shopped tgt =D
i met up with jia xin ltr
ate some dinner n off we went to tanjong pagar
met jewel at tanjong pagar mrt
as a matter of fact i was walking abt 30cm away beside her for abt 5 seconds b4 i realised it was her
lol
got lost looking for singapore conference hall
jewel seemed to know her way well
so we followed her
Choir concert was nt bad
the only interesting songs were the one sung by the combined AJ alumni
and the 2nd song which they said AJ choir was to present at their competition in China
They shld sing more english
there were only like 3 eng songs by the aj choir... out of so many songs
went for supper with jia xin after dat
bought fries which had so much salt on them it was like eating salt
i asked the manager to change it for me and he threw the fries away n gave me a new one
hw nice =) but i m too lazy to write a GEMS card for him
i am still pissed off at someone. i will probably cool down tml.

Overall, PAP may have won this year's elections again but the number of votes for the opposition has increased in every district. Comparing with 2001's general elections results, i expect that PAP will start losing seats in around 2026. However, PAP will probably lose Aljunied GRC in the next general elections in 2011 considering how close their votes are in this year's elections. This shows that the new generation is more supportive of the opposition than the PAP. There's nothing much to be said for now, we will just see in the next elections.

Sigh. A day of boredom at home.
Sian.
There were no outings today after all.
No Herd outing. No 1306 outing.
and noone's online.
Where did the world go to?
Bishan is as quiet as ever.
No polling in Bishan today.
Wonder if the opposition will win any GRCs?
I hope PAP wins all the elections
Lee Hsien Loong is right.
If there are many opposition parties in the government, the PAP will be busy thinking of policies to win the opposition. While the opposition will be fighting back against the PAP.
So in the end, the policies are just for the sake of defeating each other, not for the people.
And who suffers? the people.
This distraction is unnecessary in the government.
Singapore is propspering under the PAP.
Why would anyone want a new government?
And who can ensure that the opposition will bring us good?
the PAP is gd enough for Singapore.
Nothing is perfect. There's always a flaw somewhere.
If there are problems in Singapore's policies, point it out.
Not to use this problem to overturn the government.
Its purposeless.

OMG today's such a terrible morning
i cant believe all the terrible things that happened to me this morn
Firstly, I woke up at 7:15am
i think my internal alarm clock is all screwed up cos of my late sleeping times lately
so when i woke up to a nice and bright sunshine i totally jumped
i rushed out of the house and tried to find a cab
if i found one i still had a chance of reaching the sch on time
by 7:23 i realised that all the cabs were "on call" in the morning...
seems like all the late pple were also looking for a cab like me
so i gave up and rushed for the mrt
7:25 - I reached the mrt station. I just missed the train. Next train was in 5 minutes. dam!
7:35 - I reached Yio Chu Kang Mrt station. dashed towards sch
7:40 - I made it to school. I was 10 minutes late. They took down my name and let me go.
Ahhhh!!!! My clean record of 16 years of schooling!!! i have never been late !!! its all broken now... my record... broken!!! ahhhhhh!!!!!!!
Second disaster of the day : Physics Test
I knew the test wouldnt be easy. As a matter of fact I had no idea how to do that paper
I wrote and wrote and calculated a lot of stuff
but after the whole test i had no idea wad i was writing
so... i aint expecting to pass
mayb just a border fail will do
argh i m so gonna fail physics this year
ok 2 disasters isnt a lot... but its a lot to impact me
gd thing gary asked me out for pool later on
haha some entertainment to relax after the stressing day
rushed home den rushed back to meet em at Grassroots
i dun plan to talk abt my pool skills nemore =P
the table suddenly seems very very very big to me
i think small tables are better =)
me and gary walked over to amk after dat to eat at S11
we met up with joan, mabel and wk there
they just came back from the basketball match
of cos joan is playing, mabel is supporting and wk is "doing duty"
actually it means he's carrying drinks for the players =p
opps i think he wun read that
neway we went home after dinner
no more activities after dinner i guess
met spencer at the traffic light
he said he went to support the netball team
and he just finished dinner too
i heard the netball team drew with some sch
and they are going up against TJ and HCI next
lol they need a tonne of luck den
chatted with spencer until i realised i had left the rest behind
opps srry for dat cos ltr he might feel left out
all of em abandoned me at the mrt station though =(
only me going towards marina bay
the rest all taking the train in the direction of jurong east
haix~~ nvm 1 stop only
herd outing is cancelled tml
cos 2 of em needs to go for choir practice

We had our 2.4km run during PE today
surprisingly it didnt rain at all
while it rained during all the last few PEs
so our 2.4km went on according to schedule
the gals ran 1st so the guys all waited
b4 long we were up on the track and getting rdy for our run
My personal best was standing at 10:59 b4 this run
i was aiming for 10:30 which is an A grade for 2.4km =)
den Marcus was telling me that to get this timing
i shld maintain my speed at 1:40 per round
so i kept focused on this timing
must get 1:40 ea round!!!
the run started abruptly
very abruptly indeed
all the teacher said was ready, go in 1 sec
and most of us were still wondering wads going on
and the race and timing had alrdy started -.-
i started off at a fast pace for the 1st round
didnt notice my timing when i was done with the 1st round
i finished the 2nd round at 3:20
perfectly on time =)
I didnt notice my timing for the 3rd and 4th round either
but by the time i was running my 4th round
i was already tired
its quite hard to maintain this speed for a long period of time...
i culd sense that my body was tiring out
but my mind focused on running
and i sped up
by the time i started my 5th round
my body was already half exhausted
i was out of breath
and it was getting difficult to keep on with this speed
but i told myself
dun stop, keep going
when i came in on my 5th round
the timing was 8:57
i was thinking omg i have only 1 min 33 seconds left to make it
my brain was screaming at me to slow down
and my body was on the verge of exhaustion
my lungs were burning
but my willpower told me to hurry up
when i had about 150m left
i began to sprint
all the way to the finishing line!
my timing? 10:23 =)
new personal best!!! cheers!
i came in 2nd though... 4 seconds behind the fastest guy from another class
3rd behind me was yu xiang
he was actually ahead of me for the whole of the race until the point where i sprinted and overtook him
wad a surprise... i didnt know that he was in front of me
i m happy to have achieved a new personal best
2.4km is fun =)
"Don't ever ever stop while running, it will only serve to exhaust you further. Either run nonstop throughout the race or don't run it at all. Its pointless to run a race if you plan to stop and give up halfway. What matters is not your stamina but your willpower. Are you strong enough to keep going despite the protests from your body?"
*Side note to all Herd-ians*
Has it ever occured to you all that Kbox might not be open on Polling Day?

Today's Wednesday
We had PS again
they split us into our specialist teams
too many pple joined studio
so they reshuffled everyone themselves
after dat we were allowed to appeal to other teams and they wuld see if its possible to make the change
i appealed out of dark room to adobe
nw i kind of regret it
i want to join studio =(
i m demonstrating next week =P
neway after abt 5 min into the session
the vp of ps called me to one side
told me to follow her and i was thinking "???"
so she brought me to the audit, handed me a camera and told me to do event coverage
apparently CLDDS were having their rehearsal for their concert there
so i could practise event coverage at their rehearsal
honestly event coverage is really very fun
i enjoyed myself a lot throughout the whole of that rehearsal
snapping shot after shot
we were guided along by some of the J2s who taught us all about event coverage
i want an event to cover!
i want to volunteer for it!
its so darn fun =)
oh i saw something very scary today
there was this kid obviously from preschool tgt his mom
but thats not the main focus
the kid was holding on to this piece of paper which caught my attention
omg
i saw sudoku puzzles on that piece of paper
wads the world coming to?
they learn sudoku at kindergarden?
wad a deprived childhood!
omg
i know the syllabus for pri sch is getting harder and harder
but doing sudoku puzzles in preschool is totally overdoing it!
i feel so sad for the kids nowadays
their minds start getting tortured from as young as 5
poor em...
"If you want to switch to studio, you must get through Pei Yeung 1st to leave Adobe" --- Jian Qi , when i asked him whether i could change to studio
What's this? Mission Impossible?

i got totally pissed off by SPA today
dun ask me y
its very tiring
i wonder who ever came up with this sort of practical
more like a physical activity than a spa practical
mr lim kept asking me why i was so angry
i m in a bad mood
and i was on the verge of exploding
i was probably affected by other factors too
no mood to do spa practical
o well
i hope i have calmed down
*added on at 12:08am*
I just came back from Intercontinental Hotel
its directly opposite the National Library down at Bugis
cos its my cousin's wedding dinner today!
Happy Marriage to
Clement and
Ginny!
Clement's my cousin =)
ok i just found out that's his name today but... lol
that leaves 3 guys (or is it 4?) left in my generation who are still single >.<
i m the youngest among em all
haha i got a long way to go
my cousin says he is looking foward to my wedding
but by the time i get married, his kid is probably alrdy halfway thru primary sch
there's still 8 years to go! lol
the hotel is quite a nice place
but smaller than the one cat high went to for the graduation dinner
as i said, cat high is rich lor
the food was gd
i got overloaded with food
cos by the time the 6th dish came out... quite a few pple were full alrdy
so there tended to be food still left on the plate
den my relatives started saying
"Young people should eat more"
*looks around* i m the youngest teen guy at the table
the next youngest guy is abt 4 years old
so they started stacking my plate up
seriously stacking
i ate a lot of the last 4 dishes >.<
it was gd but overwhelming
ahhh i feel so full nw

i m very happy today
i got invited out by gary for another outing
to kim's house
and li le and pui kit came too! =D
hvent seen em for ages
poor pui kit
according to him they are treated very badly
mistreated and tortured
he said for every question in the chinese comprehension
he must write a page long of answer for each question
wdh...
den he said something about compo with 45 pages of paper
i think he means the words are very big
lol
poor him... i also feel sad for him
neway 6 of us met up
me. gary. joan. pui kit. li le. zi tong.
we all went to kim's house
me gary and joan on one bus
pui kit zi tong and li le on another
cos joan went off to buy some food
and the bus came
so the 3 of em boarded it 1st
and we took the next bus
haha i think we took the longer bus
but hey... longer trip = more scenery = more pics to take (but the other 2 didnt agree with me)
o and talking abt pics... i brought the big camera today supposedly to take photos for the competition
but i didnt take ne
lol i m so gonna be screwed on wed
heck
today was a really fun day
i enjoyed myself after all the stress i went thru these few days
we did the usual stuff. play pool. play mahjong
but i always enjoy it when us, the usual pple gather tgt =)
today's pool was fun
i found out li le had deproved
and the pool table is getting weirder and weirder
many shots today went in the hole and jumped out again
lol
mahjong became even more interesting
esp the usual 3-man game
i was like winning at first
while kim and pui kit were losing to me
den suddenly kim struck back
ah and the impact was great
generally pui kit was taken out
and my profits dropped to a loss
haha but we werent gambling =)
mahjong is fun
i m looking foward to another gathering
i ♥ gatherings =)
