I just read a newspaper article today on the education life on children today.
One thing I must say: kids nowadays really have no life.
Their parents really deprive them of it.

One classical example was of a Primary three student who had been going to tuition since Primary ONE. His tuition is in fact on a DAILY basis before/after school hours and as a result, he has 9 hours of school each day.

Helloooo. He's only Primary 1~3. How hard can the syllabus get such that a student needs to undergo 9 hours of school each day?
Seriously, what's wrong with parents nowadays?
Although the syllabus for Primary School today is far from what it was during my time, I don't think they are doing as far as quadratic equations right?
Goodness, I didn't even have to do 6 hours everyday for Secondary School.
And they are doing 9 hours a day for Primary School.

What a sad, sad life the young students are living nowadays.
I wonder upon the day when they grow up and realise that they had no childhood playtime.
Cos at the age of 6, they were learning the piano.
At the age of 7, they started on the violin.
By 8, they already had more certificates than they had toys.
Guess what. Most of these certificates have not much value except for decoration and scrap paper.
So why push their kids so hard?

I don't know if it is the stress posed by society today that is to blame or it is the parents to blame or whether it is a mixture of both factors.
But the bottom line is, kids nowadays have NO life.

Has anyone heard about the moon conspiracy? People are actually questioning whether Man really landed on the Moon 40 years ago. The critics said that it was actually a staged performance held in a studio and in actual fact, the U.S never did land people on the moon. This documentary was published in 2001. Its titled "Did we really land on the moon?"
Find out more if you are interested ;)

This just gave me a new definition of truth.

Truth is what is being projected to an audience and what is being accepted by the receiving audience as reality.
It is actuality in the eyes of the beholder.

Next time anyone argues with you over the truth of a matter, tell him/her that:
Since we cannot come to a consensus over this matter, and the truth of this matter cannot be defined by a unified perspective, let us cease the dispute and let nature take its course.

Whaddat? =)
Oh. I want to study Psychology. Just a thought.
