Yoohoo everyone! I am back from the PS camp!
so here's the long-waited update
it will cover all 3 days!

Friday 28th April

Happy Birthday Joey!
there are many happenings today
Its Joey's bday, AJ Idols finals and PS camp
we celebrated for joey at 4pm
after which i totally rushed out of sch

Reached J8 at 5+
met jia xin wandering around with nth to do
so i invited him along
I rushed home to pack my camp bag and typed out a quick blog entry
5 people wanted me to buy dinner for them from J8
i wanted dinner too
so off i went to buy 6 dinners

when i reached yck it starting POURING
so suay >.<
so me and jx decided to have a nice stroll through the downpour
with lightning flashing all around us
and trees all above us
but seriously... its slightly drier under the trees
but there are some cons to take into consideration too

we reached sch at 6pm totally drenched
went into audit at 6:30pm
but just as i was settled down
rdy to enjoy the performance
zi jie turned up
omg
she told us to leave at 8 to get rdy for the camp
ahhhhhhhhhh
my aj idol finals!!!
nvm i still managed to watch thru SCNO's performance
many negative notes from the judges sadly
o and if u were wondering abt the source of a potato chips flying at the stage
chris threw it
from very very far away
its a gift to SCNO =)
i heard abt the results at 10pm
Redemption and 153.5 won
awwwwwww
but gd thing its redemption
i dun like extacy a lot

there werent many pple who turned up for the camp at 10pm
its supposed to start at 9!
everyone was watching aj idols and none of em wanted to come out
boohoo =(
and poor me was outside waiting for em to get out of dere

the camp started quite late
went according to schedule
1st night went smoothly
i wuld say it was quite successful

Our activities lasted till 1am
den debrief for us till 2am
den discussions till 3am

den we played bridge lol
so we slept at 3:30am and woke up at 5:30am
sad life isnt it?

Saturday 29th April 2006

woke up at 5:30 am
i forgot to watch the sunrise though
sat is a long day
a very very long day
managed to settle everything quite well
but we messed up at the games
haix~ didnt test run the games
so we didnt expect so much problems arising from the games
terrible
neverthless the camp went on
we had tis problem solving session at 9pm
we were supposed to come up with a proposal on what we can do to use photography to help the community
Time given: 45min
wdh sia
i take 45 hours and i cant get that pi out and i must do this in 45 min!
and after that.. we must present it to the society!

group work... 5 pple in my grp
our grp name was Fishball Noodles
it was decided by the J2s
wonder who came up with that name
i tot our proposal idea was wonderful
still feel sad for the 1st grp which did the presentation
they were machine-gunned with questions as if ammo was unlimited
seriously machine gunned
they shot question after question until the poor grp was speechless
took a whole 45 min for the 1st grp
1 hr was allocated for this section btw
so it went on... until the time was dragged and dragged
after that it was time for the interviews+ the movie Shutter

they released the list for the pple who were shortlisted
the whole J1 organising committee was shortlisted + 5 other J1s
ahhhh another interview
the thought kills me
Shutter's generally one of those shows that gives u frights once every few scenes
kind of a jumpy show
but there's sth dats more scary than the show
its the screaming
u wun believe hw the gals can scream >.<

i was dragged off to my interview at abt 2am
or was it 3am?
totally mentally unprepared
so i gave a lot of dumb answers to their qns
aiya
totally screwed myself up

i went for night walk after that
some places in AJ are totally pitch black at night
den the station masters' job was to scare the pple passing by
-.-
they cant find a better form of entertainment or wad?

day ended at 4:07am
slept for 1 hr and 53 min
haix...

woke up to another freezing morning
got all rdy to go home
the camp's finally over
and they alrdy hv a rough idea who to select as president and vice president for ps
gl has the highest chance of getting the vp position
but the p position is chosen alrdy i think
Rating: 7.5/10

i borrowed one of the ps cameras to take some shots
the flash is extremely bright
it lights up any place
i might do those photos to be submitted for competition after all...
