As i passed by chris's blog today... i saw his analysis of his no. of frens
so i thought... wad wuld my no. of frens be like from my perspective?
But... before dat... wad is a friend?
A friend is defined in http://www.dictionary.com as

1.A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
2.A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
3.A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
4.One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement

So i started classifying:

In Secondary i had:

Best friends:1
Close friends:5
Good friends:10+
Friends:30+
Acquaintances:80+

Sadly, around half of my Sec 3/4 class in the last 2 years belonged to the acquaintance category while few made it into the close friends category.

When i reached JC i had:

Best friends:2
Close friends:10+
Good friends:40+
Friends:100+
Acquaintances: 300+

Briefly, i would just say who belong to which category so u might just see where u belong from my perspective...

Best friends: Michael and Tian Xiang
Yea i know tian xiang might be surprised but i have changed since i entered jc life...i dun get into as many disputes and i take things less seriously... mayb it wasnt even the real me in sec sch life...i feel more carefree now and of cos happier =)
Dats cos i dun bottle everything up nemore... when u say ur thoughts out it feels much better... i will always be happy =D
If u provoked me last time... probably i will hold a grudge for some time...
nowadays, i will probably forget it in a while but this doesnt give anyone a reason to provoke me for pure entertainment...

Few people around me know Michael... i dun think he visits my blog either... but i had always treated him as my best friend =)

Close friends: The Herd,and a few people in my sec 4 class last year

Good friends: 13/06, the people who spent their time eating breakfast with me everyday and around 5 people from my sec 3/4 class

Friends: 90% of Efreet, 5% of Alumino, about 10+ people in my sec 3/4 class and 10+ people from my sec 1/2 class

Acquaintances: Everyone else whom I have met at one point of time or another

If i have missed someone out by accident... pls forgive me cos i cant really remember everyone to classify in these categories

Something everyone need to know: I usually like chatting with my closer friends... so if u find that i do chat a lot with you even if i m just suaning you or crapping around... yea you probably belong to "good friends" or higher.these r the people i will intiate a conversation with...and i will chat for quite a while...
however, if u belong to the "friends" category i will still initiate a short chat with u...but i its likely that i wun be saying too much about myself... i will probably cover more general topics.If you are in the acquaintance category...u will probably not feel that i m friendly enuff while talking...cos usually i wun feel as comfortable as compared to chatting with my great friends.
